  • 2016 - Using CS-First.com in a year 4 class to build coding skills to work toward a class makerspace.​
  • 2016-2018: Used Augmented Reality to showcase student work at parent teacher night with Aurasma
  • 2015 - Created and Implemented Year 8 elective "Computational Thinking" project based learning, mixed mode delivery.
  • 2015 - Created and Implemented Stage 2 STEM course

  • 2015 - Launched new website inspireslearning.weebly.com
  • 2014 - Successfully organised and facilitated Hour of Code for 500 students, 45 Code Ninjas (student helpers) and 21 staff. A very successful event. It was reported in the local media.
  • 2014 -  Establishment of a second code club to specifically target the interests of girls. Using the Sugata Mitra SOLE model.
  • 2014 - Personal Interest Project for year 9 and 10 IST.
  • 2014-2015 - eLearning website and blog.
  • Present - Curation of a coding resources for students and teachers - kodeklubbers.weebly.com.
  • Present - The 5th year of teaching programming to primary students in the classroom. Using Kodu, Scratch, Pencilcode and Beebots.
  • 2014 - Refining Digital Citizenship resources for pastoral care program in 2015.
  • 2014 - Developed and implemented a superclass project based unit to redesign an outdoor learning area with year 5.
  • Term 4, 2014 - Personal Interest Projects with year 10IST. Theme -  Future directions of technology.
  • Term 3-4, 2014: Personal Interest Projects with year 3. Theme - Comparing Asia and Australia.
  • August 2014: Achieved internal BOSTES Accreditation for all seven standards at proficient level. 
  • July 2014: Augmented Reality project created on year 5 machines project and Aurasma. Expo for parent/teacher interviews.
  • 2013 - 2014: Development of courses to achieve accreditation for NSW Teachers Institute with BOSTES for proficient teachers internal provider.
  • 2013 - Present: Established SCAS's first lunch KodeKlub, for students interested in opportunities to learning programming.
  • 2013 - Present: Use Pencilcode.net to teach year 4 and year 5 about angles and circular geometry.
  • 2013 - Development of a program of ipad activities to supplement the Year 1 Maths curriculum. Activities taught iPad skills, critical thinking and reinforced foundation maths concepts.
  • 2011 - Present: Initiated, developed and rolled out the
    K-12 SCAS digital citizenship program.
  • 2011 - Present: First teacher at SCAS to use visual programming game KODU to create games with links to literacy and narratives. Click here for the link to view uploaded games.
  • 2013 - Established K-2 Minecraft Club
  • 2014:  Trained staff to facilitate the Stage 1 Minecraft club.
  • 2013: Designed and ran a pilot project "The impact of technology on sight word mastery".
  • 2013: Designed, developed and led SCAS's first Games Based Superclass using Minecraft.

Successful Projects
  • 2019: Received a Computer Science grant from Google to run teacher PD at Port Macquarie Adventist School.
  • 2019: Part of the organising committee for Girls Day Out in STEM a STEM event for 200 girls in Port Macquarie
  • 2017: Published (now archived) on the http://aisnsw.edu.au site, Embedding MakerSpace Concepts in the classroom.
  • November 2017: Digital Technologies in Math and Geography
  • ​August 2017: Literacy and Numeracy week, collaborative project with Mrs Jones. 
  • ​June 2015: Computational Thinking - Hands On! Conference Cross Sector Conference with Speakers from 3 states and delegates from 4 states, Public, Catholic, Independent Schools and Business. In the news!
  • November 2013: Invited to repeat the Digital Citizenship forum for St Andrews Cathedral School, Sydney.
  • July 2013: Developed and presented PEIC Digital Citizenship Conference.
  • July 2013 - Conception, organiser, developer and presenter of the Digital Citizenship forum for PEIC (Professional Excellence and Innovation Centre).
  • 2012 - 2016 - Conceptualised and a key member of the development of the Professional Excellence and Innovation Centre (PEIC), Port Macquarie.

  • 2002, 2003: Tournament of Minds Co-ordinator, Primary, received "Special Award"
  • 1999: Managed a team of programmers. Also consulted for sales of custom program solutions and to sell programming services to the private sector.
  • 1998-2000: Documented the network set up of the Sydney 2000 Olympics, developed training materials to train volunteers how to set up a network within a venue. Trained the trainers how to teach the course.
  • 1996-1998: Computer Trainer, Technical Writer and Education Consultant in private sector.
